We just don't know but we are one
of those people who are terrorizing this world. We are not aware that slowly we
are already destroying our environment.
I am not talking about the
different evil acts done by those terrorists like the Al Qaeda. But I am
discussing about the daily activities, which we don't know are already harmful
to the world.
Yesterday, breaking news in the
United States are the wildfires in California, Great Tornado in Kansas and
flash flood in Missouri. Believe it or not, these incidents were due to the
different weather disturbances and the main source of these calamities is the
people and their daily acts. These were the effects of global warming and I
tell you, it is alarming.
According to scientists, if we
don't stop the global warming, by 2020, the effects will be severe including
more rains and carbon dioxide, which will cause extreme heat. ice from the
Antarctica will melt down and it will produce more sea and destroying the
habitats of those animals like penguins which resides above the ice. Believe or
not, by the year 2045, almost half of America, including New York, large parts
of China, India, Russia and other countries in the Southeast Asia including the
Philippines will dissolve due to the production of more ocean and the
dissolution of more lands. Now, this is more alarming.
Since you are already aware,
don't be stupid and act now. You can help even in your small way. Buy those
materials that have the seal telling that these are not harmful to the
environment. Act and save the world now before it is too late. We would not
suffer the different consequences when we start moving now.
Don't be a terrorist of your own
land and save mother earth.
